Minneapolis, MN – Amber (Place) Damm, a member of the NCU Class of 1998, has been named the 2009 Minnesota Teacher of the Year. Damm received the award that recognizes the state’s top K-12 educator on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at the annual Education Minnesota ceremony in Brooklyn Park, MN.
