Arts & Sciences
The Department of Arts & Sciences supports the general mission of the University by overseeing many of those courses required in the General Education Core, specifically courses in Art History, Critical Thought, General Studies, History, Mathematics, Physical Education, and Science.
Bible & Theology
The Bible & Theology Department is designed for high-achieving students planning to earn a graduate degree following their studies at North Central. In addition to serving as a pre-seminary program, it may appeal to students whose ministry goals include Bible translation, chaplaincy and university teaching.

Carlstrom Deaf Studies
Carlstrom Deaf Studies (CDS) is the only fully self-contained degree granting program for the Deaf among Assemblies of God colleges. Its qualified faculty enables Deaf students to be trained by ministers and leaders directly from the front lines of ministry. Carlstrom also welcomes non-Deaf (hearing) students who wish to prepare to minister and/or work cross-culturally with the Deaf.
Communication Arts
The Communication Arts Department at North Central University is committed to producing communication professionals that are well equipped to boldly navigate today’s media technology and understand its burgeoning power to shape human communication, culture and the church.

The Pastoral Ministries Department exists to provide comprehensive ministerial training for pastoral leaders.
Departments of Church Leadership: Student Ministries
The Student Ministries Department oversees NCU's majors in Campus Missions, Children and Family Ministries, Youth Development Studies & Youth Ministries.
Education
The Education Department at North Central University is committed to producing teachers who are academically prepared for excellent teaching and who utilize the best pedagogical practices, model Christ-like character, and devote themselves to lifelong learning.
English
The English Department produces graduates who understand and communicate a Christian perspective in a society increasingly closed to hearing it.
Fine Arts
The Fine Arts Department offers degrees in Contemporary Christian Music, Music, Music Business, Music Performance, four different tracks within the new Worship Arts program (Recording Arts, Theatre, Music Pastor and Worship Leading) and a degree in Secondary Education - Music.
Intercultural Studies & Languages
The mission of the Department of Intercultural Studies & Languages is to prepare persons who can love both God and others, extending God’s Kingdom incarnationally across all barriers (ethnic, racial, economic, gender, generational) focusing on unreached peoples and the oppressed urban and rural poor.
Social & Behavioral Sciences
North Central University's Department of Social and and Behavioral Sciences exists to provide a broad, theologically enlightened educational foundation for students entering the behavioral sciences and prepare department graduates for further educational training and/or immediate employment in the field.
