Professional experience

Tyson Schroder’s professional history includes a variety of experiences in both the local Church and the marketplace. As an undergraduate student, Tyson partnered with several other students in planting a church where he assumed roles of both Student and College Pastor. 15 years later, that same church stands as home to nearly 1,000 members. Upon finishing graduate school, Tyson went on to impact the marketplace with roles in sales, marketing, and finance. As a Manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Tyson led 15 employees in improving the branch to one of the largest and most successful in central Florida, earning over $2.5 million per year.
Tyson passionately advocates for a kingdom-minded partnership between the marketplace and the Church. He hopes that his classes will challenge students to think critically about business concepts, and how you can serve your future business endeavors in the excellence and humility of Christ.
When Tyson isn’t working, he can usually be found spending time with his wife and kids, reading, or watching The Office re-runs.
