North Central University is excited to announce the premier of “Hearts on Fire,” a brand new Worship Live CD launched during the “Worship Live CD Release Show” on Thursday at 6:30, March 26 in the Trask Worship Center sanctuary. Recorded live during a series of NCU Chapel worship experiences February 11–13, the new CD features original songs by North Central’s best and brightest from the NCU College of Fine Arts. The recording was produced under the guidance of College of Fine Arts Dean Larry Bach and NCU faculty member/worship artist, Jeff Deyo.
“The daily Chapel worship here on the North Central campus is a unique experience that we are privileged to take part in every day. We wanted to capture that amazing experience—that personal connection to God through praise and worship and presence of the Holy Spirit—and share it with the world,” Deyo explains.
“Many visitors and guest speakers to NCU’s campus attend our Chapel worship service and remark later about what an amazing experience it was,” Bach observes. “These folks travel and speak at schools all over the country, and they are telling us that we have something unique and special here—that they could feel the unmistakable presence of God in our Chapel worship.”
“Hearts on Fire” features North Central University performing groups Worship Live, Concert Chorale, and One Accord, as well as Deyo and an NCU Chapel packed with students, faculty, and friends.
“North Central is blessed with several amazingly talented groups of student vocalists and musicians,” Bach notes, “and we are excited to share their artistry with everyone.”
