NCU Grads 2020

To the Class of 2020

Hey Grads,

Today is your day! We are so proud of you, and you should be so proud of yourself!

No one could have predicted that your college tenure would wrap up this way, but as our University President, Scott Hagan says, “you will be the most remembered graduating class in history.” While graduation ceremonies and celebrations are postponed, we wanted to make an opportunity to celebrate you the best we can.

We have compiled a list of ways you can celebrate graduation today, whether you are a grad or have a grad in your life!

Social Media

Social media is one of the most powerful tools we have in staying connected as a community during this pandemic. We have created several opportunities for you to celebrate graduation online!

Music

Music is key in making special moments memorable. A good song or playlist can take you back in time and feel those same feelings. So to celebrate this special day, pick a favorite song or playlist to listen to today. Something that will remind you of how special today is and all of your accomplishments through the past four (or so) years! We also took time to make a playlist for this special day too-you can find it here!

Spend today with loved ones

The people you have around you are one of the most important parts of graduation. Today is your day so remember to celebrate it with people who are important to you. We hope that the people around you take time to celebrate you and your accomplishments-because you deserve it! Whether it’s a FaceTime call or in person, let your people celebrate you. Maybe even take time today to write letters to those who were crucial to getting you to this day-grandparents, professors, counselors, etc.

College Graduation is a huge milestone in anyone’s life. You are destined for big and important things, but remember that this is just where your story begins. Give it time, be patient with yourself and with the journey, and remember that you have your whole life ahead of you! You are so capable of doing great things and we can’t wait to watch you change the world! We love you Class of 2020.
