Host Your Event at NCU
During the summer, North Central University’s facilities can be rented for a variety of private events, including mission trips, conferences, meetings, retreats, family reunions, weddings, showers, and more.

Multi-Building Summer Camp and Conferences
In addition to providing beautiful, centrally located spaces to host your event, NCU offers the following event planning and coordination services to renters. NCU sanctuary has a capacity of 847, and our chapel has a capacity of 200.
- Date selection and scheduling
- Reaching a mutually agreeable contract in accordance with campus policies
- Coordinating your needs with various campus departments
- Assisting with the check-in and check-out processes (facility rental office will assist during business hours; security staff will assist after business hours)
- On-site assistance and problem solving (during business hours)
Meeting and Conference Rooms
Reserve a meeting room from a variety of sizes during the school year and summer. These rooms are also used as classrooms and lecture halls and come equipped with varying levels of technology for presentations and Audio/Visual media. Please let us know your technology needs when you request a booking.
Residence Halls and Overnight Accommodations
Overnight accommodations are available from mid-May through the final weekend in July. NCU offers an air conditioned residence hall (suite style with semi-private restroom) as well as non-air-conditioned residence halls (traditional style with community restrooms).
Each room includes a twin size bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet for each occupant. Bring your own linens (pillow, sheets, blanket, towels, and toiletry items). Contact the facility rental office to make arrangements in advance and obtain pricing for rentals.
Outdoor Spaces
Enjoy Minneapolis summer on our beautiful, well maintained grounds. Our 12.5-acre campus is ideal for summer weddings, conference and family reunion activities, and small group breakouts at work events.
Dining Facilities
Meals and catering are provided by Sodexo Catering, NCU’s contracted food service provider. The cafeteria, which is set up in a buffet style, is located on the bottom floor of Carlson Hall.
Per Sodexo Catering, in order to open the cafeteria, there must be a minimum of 30 people (two or more groups can be combined to meet the minimum requirements). You may also order boxed/sack lunch and dinner options that do not require a minimum group count.
Safety at NCU
The Campus Safety and Security team is available 24 hours a day. They are happy to help you with any concerns you may have. The university is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
